Jared Formosa

Jared Formosa has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jared currently holds the position of Director of Operations at School District 47, Powell River, starting in March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an Independent Consultant starting in November 2021. From February 2022 to April 2023, they served as a Project Engineer/Project Manager at Tetra Tech. Before that, Jared worked at EASi as a Project Manager/Mechanical Engineer from May 2018 to December 2021. Jared also worked at ANDRITZ as a Project Manager from January 2017 to August 2017. Earlier in their career, Jared held intern positions at PepsiCo in 2016 and 2015, where they focused on resource conservation and efficiency projects. Jared also worked as a Truss/EWP Designer at Valley Building Supplies Ltd. from January 2013 to August 2013 and as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Apprentice at Conair Group Inc. from November 2011 to May 2012.

Jared Formosa completed their education in a chronological manner. Jared first attended the British Columbia Institute of Technology from 2011 to 2012, where they earned a Diploma of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering. Following this, Jared enrolled at Capilano University from 2012 to 2014, where they received a Diploma of Engineering Transition. Lastly, they pursued their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering - Thermofluids at The University of British Columbia from 2014 to 2018.
