Kenton Hemsing

Kenton Hemsing is an experienced educator with a strong background in teaching mathematics and science. Currently serving as a Teacher at School District 47 in Powell River since August 2022, Kenton previously taught at Blackgold Regional Schools from September 2010 to August 2022. Additional roles include Senior Manager at Alberta Education, Instructional Coach at Black Gold Regional School, and various teaching positions at St. Albert Protestant Schools and Chislehurst and Sidcup Grammar School. Kenton also worked as a School Programs Instructor at Telus World of Science, delivering science education to young students. Academically, Kenton holds a Master's in Educational Technology from The University of British Columbia and Bachelor's degrees in Education from the University of Alberta, specializing in Secondary Mathematics and Physics. Kenton is a Google Apps for Education Certified Trainer.
