Troy Marshall is an experienced professional in both education and construction, currently serving as President of Complete Construction Services Ltd since January 2013, specializing in commercial and residential construction services. Additionally, Troy has been the District Principal for School District 47 in Powell River since September 2004, overseeing operations including maintenance, transportation, janitorial services, capital planning, and budgeting while providing post-secondary credits to secondary students. Troy's experience as a Dual Credit Coordinator and Central Island Regional Coordinator at Vancouver Island University, along with a background in teaching technology education and automotive technology, complements a career that also includes leadership roles in aviation operations and automotive repair businesses. Troy holds a Master's of Education from Athabasca University and multiple degrees in education and automotive technology from prominent institutions such as The University of British Columbia and Kwantlen Polytechnic University.

qathet School District provides public education to 3,000+ students K-12 in the qathet Regional District on the traditional territory of the Tla’amin Nation. There are six elementary schools (Grades K-7), one secondary school (Grades 8-12), an alternate school and a Distributed Learning Program to support home-learning families called Partners in Education (PIE). The qathet Region is a unique coastal community located 140 km north-west of Vancouver and within the heart of the Sunshine Coast.
