Kyle Backes

Kyle Backes is an accomplished Premium Audit Manager and Associate Vice President at QBE North America, with nearly two decades of experience in managing multi-line insurance premium accounts for over 550 clients. Since joining QBE in 2004, Kyle has demonstrated expertise in audit compliance, client collaboration, and budget monitoring, achieving consistently high internal review ratings and exceptional client survey feedback. Prior to QBE, Kyle held senior auditing roles at General Casualty and Travelers, where responsibilities included managing extensive client portfolios and performing compliance audits. Kyle's career began at EBI Companies and Aetna Life & Casualty, where foundational skills in premium auditing were developed. Kyle holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.
