Prior to this role, Javier worked at Liberty Mutual Insurance as the Director of Ceded Reinsurance from August 2020 to December 2022. Javier's extensive career at Swiss Re spanned from June 2008 to December 2018, where roles included Head Market Underwriter for L&H Latin America, Head of Life and Health for Andean Countries, Senior Pricing Actuary, and Actuary. Javier's early experience includes a Group and Healthcare internship at Watson Wyatt and leadership positions at the Departamento Nacional de Planeación in Colombia. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Actuarial Science from Boston University and a Bachelor's in Mathematics from Universidad de Los Andes.
