Pieter Boogaerts

Pieter Boogaerts has extensive work experience in the field of infrastructure architecture and engineering. Pieter currently works as the VP of Engineering at Qcify, Inc., leading the research and development activities of the company. Prior to this, they served as a Lead Infrastructure Architect at Cognizant, where they focused on service delivery and data center migration for a telecom sector account. Before that, they worked as an Infrastructure Architect at Ahold Delhaize, providing strategy and vision for the company's infrastructure and operations. Pieter also gained valuable experience during their time at Delhaize Group, where they completed internships in various infrastructure teams and eventually became an Infrastructure Architect. Pieter has a range of expertise in areas such as datacenter facilities, server platforms, virtualization technologies, and collaboration services. Throughout their career, they have worked on key projects including the implementation of SAP, Microsoft Azure Cloud, and enterprise mobility solutions. Overall, Pieter has a strong background in infrastructure architecture and has held multiple leadership roles throughout their career.

Pieter Boogaerts has a strong educational background in the field of technology. In 1998, they enrolled at KU Leuven and completed a Master's Degree in Computer Science in 2002. Following this, Pieter pursued further education at the same institution, earning a Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence in 2003. Demonstrating their commitment to professional development, Pieter obtained a TOGAF® Certification from The Open Group in April 2019.
