Luis Merino Garcia

Luis Merino Garcia has extensive work experience in software engineering and development. Luis currently holds the role of Senior Software Engineer at Qdrant since June 2023. Prior to this, from October 2020 to May 2023, they worked as a Senior Frontend Engineer in the Robotics Division at ARRIVAL, where they contributed to the development of their autonomous factory project. Before that, they worked at ResearchGate as a Senior Full-Stack Engineer from July 2016 to October 2020. In 2013, Luis co-founded and served as the CTO of Proudsugar, leading the implementation and decision-making of the company. From 2012 to 2013, they were the Lead Frontend Developer at moviepilot, responsible for the architecture of their single-page Javascript/HTML5 application. Luis also worked as a developer at Cloud9 IDE from April 2011 to October 2011, and as a Full-Stack Software Engineer at Vadingo.com from September 2009 to January 2011. Additionally, Luis gained experience as a Javascript, PHP, and Codifier at QueridoDesign.net from October 2006 to January 2010, as a MooTools collaborator from June 2006 to January 2010, and as a Front-end Engineer at Sclipo from April 2007 to March 2008. Throughout their career, Luis has demonstrated their skills in various programming languages and has contributed to the development of complex web applications, CMSs, and more.
