Girish Ramkumar currently serves as the Head of Fintech Investments at Bank Muscat, focusing on venture and growth investments in fintech across multiple regions, including India, the UK, Southeast Asia, the UAE, and KSA. In addition to this role, Girish is involved as an investor with several firms, including Zopa Bank, Tabby, and M2P Fintech, and acts as a Limited Partner for QED Investors. Prior to Bank Muscat, Girish held key positions at Unitus Capital as Vice President of Investment Banking, Siana Capital in venture capital investments, and Jupiter Capital in private equity investments, gaining extensive expertise in deal sourcing, execution, and portfolio management across various sectors. Earlier career experience includes roles at Firstsource in corporate planning and finance, and Goldman Sachs as an equity analyst, where deep analytical skills were developed. Girish holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Osmania University, a Master's from the Indian Institute of Science, and has completed all three levels of the CFA exam as well as obtaining an FRM designation.
