Maryalice Viljoen

Mavi runs the executive office at QED.

She joined QED Investors with an extensive background in hospitality, event management, and human resources. Some professional highlights include leading the implementation of a bi-lingual hospitality and tourism management program in Honduras, guiding the rebranding and culture shift of Potomac Hospitality Services into Modus Hotels in Washington, D.C., and founding J Street Productions. She has a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University and has been published in the International Journal of Servant Leadership. A believer in lifelong learning, she enjoys teaching at Trinity Washington University’s school of business and graduate studies and providing leadership development seminars at various hotels in the DC area.

In addition to Honduras and the United States she has lived and worked in Switzerland and the Turks and Caicos Islands -- and is happiest when her suitcase is packed for the next adventure.
