Sandeep Patil

Sandeep has extensive experience in consumer internet and is a global veteran of the banking and financial services industry.

Prior to joining QED, he was the Managing Director andChief Executive Officer for India at Truecaller, a consumer technology company with over 250 million monthly users globally. He directed global Adtech, Payments, Fintech, SME/Enterprise, and Developer businesses, which more than doubled the company’s revenues and achieved net income profitability despite the pandemic.

Earlier, Sandeep was at Flipkart, India’s largest eCommerce company, where he led a category business, helped launch consumer andSME lending, and contributed to the company’s $ 4 billion fund raise and eventual sale to Walmart.

Before his stint in India, Sandeep lived and worked in the UK and the USA for over fifteen years. He began his career with Capital One developing data-led product and credit strategies for underserved and upmarket consumers. Later he was with McKinsey and Company where he served global financial institutions on growth and M&A.

Sandeep holds an MBA from the London Business School(L.B.S.) and a B.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology (I.I.T.),Mumbai, India.

Though an avid traveller, paragliding pilot and deep sea diver, Sandeep’s greatest adventures these days are with his three year old son in the parks of London.
