Hasan Smeir

Hasan Smeir has a diverse work experience. Hasan currently works at Qeexo as a Senior Machine Learning Research Engineer, starting in October 2021. Prior to that, they held the role of Machine Learning Researcher at the same company since January 2019. Hasan also worked as a Graduate Research Fellow at the University of Southern California from June 2018 to January 2019. Hasan's previous experience includes working as a Wireline Engineer at Schlumberger from April 2012 to February 2014, and as a Communication Engineer at Huawei Technologies from November 2010 to February 2011. Hasan began their career as an Intern at Libyan Telecom & Technology Company in August 2008.

Hasan Smeir completed their Master of Science (MS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Southern California from 2016 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, Hasan obtained various certifications related to deep learning and neural networks. Hasan completed courses on Convolutional Neural Networks, Deep Learning Specialization, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Sequence Models, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, and Neural Networks for Machine Learning from Coursera. Hasan obtained these certifications between August 2017 and December 2020.
