Lewam Assefa

Lewam Assefa currently serves as the Head of Marketing at Qena Digital Lending, responsible for crafting and executing marketing initiatives to enhance growth and brand awareness through data-driven strategies. Concurrently, Lewam holds the position of Head of Marketing for Digital Lending at Kifiya Financial Technology PLC, focusing on marketing research, communication strategies, and budget management. Previous roles include Administrative Manager at Gemcorp Capital, where project and operational management were key responsibilities, and Account Director and Senior Account Executive at Zeleman Communications, overseeing marketing strategies and client accounts. Lewam began a career in customer service and gained early experience as an intern with the Ethiopian Women’s Lawyers Association. Educationally, Lewam earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Jimma University.
