Carlos Garduño

Carlos Garduño has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Carlos is currently the General Counsel at Qenta Inc., where they are responsible for the overall legal and compliance strategy, advising management and business units, and serving as corporate secretary. Carlos is also a Member of the Digital Asset Regulatory Legal Alliance (DARLA).

Prior to their current position, Carlos worked at Greenberg Traurig, LLP, where they were a Shareholder. In this role, they had a 50/50 focus on transactional and regulatory finance matters, with an emphasis on structured lending and capital markets. Carlos co-led various working groups within the firm and co-created and led the local Fintech practice.

Before joining Greenberg Traurig, Carlos worked at White & Case LLP as an Associate. Their responsibilities included representing issuers in securities offerings, structuring ETFs, and representing parties in cross-border restructuring projects.

Carlos also has experience working as an Attorney at Bufete Becerra Pocoroba, S.C. and as a Pasante/Law Clerk at Notaría 201 de la CDMX.

Carlos Garduño has a Master's degree in Banking Law and Financial Regulation from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), which they obtained from 2009 to 2010. Prior to that, they attended Escuela Libre de Derecho from 2001 to 2006, where they obtained a degree in Law. Further education information is not provided for their earlier years, but it is known that they attended Bachillerato Alexander Bain at some point.
