Systems Engineer - FIA RX2e Rallycross at QEV Technologies

Gonzalo Muñoz López has worked as a Systems Engineer - FIA RX2e Rallycross at QEV Technologies since 2019. In this role, they are responsible for ensuring all electronic and electric systems required for running the RX2e car are operating correctly, safely, legally, reliably and efficiently, proceeding car initialisation and high-voltage system energising, and managing the configuration and settings of the car, including software versions, calibration files, CAN configurations and logging settings. Additionally, they have implemented electrical schematics into 3D designs of wire harnesses (CATIA V5 and 3DExperience), ensured excellent communication between Electrical and Design departments, and provided design support and anticipated assembly difficulties of electrical and electronic devices. Prior to this role, they were a tutor from 2014 to 2017 and a Selling Assistant at John Lewis & Partners from 2017 to 2019.

Gonzalo Muñoz López obtained their Elementary Degree of Music from Agrupación Musical Juvenil de Cabezo de Torres in 2001-2005. Gonzalo then completed their High School Diploma with Honors from IES Rector Francisco Sabater García in 2005-2007. Gonzalo then went on to receive their Bachelor and Master of Engineering in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in 2007-2016. In 2012, they obtained their First Certificate in English (level B2) with a Grade B from the University of Cambridge. Most recently, they completed their Master's degree in Motorsport & e-Racing from CEDEU Centro de Estudios Universitarios in 2019-2020.
