Nicola Bassan

Nicola Bassan has worked in a variety of roles in the automotive industry since 2008. From 2008-2009, they worked as an Ingegnere Elettronico for RaceUp team and an Ingeniero Electronico for ETSEIB Motorsport. From 2011-2013, they were the Head of Electronics for Silence l Leader in Urban Eco Mobility, where they designed a new drive system for an electric scooter. From 2013-2016, they were an Electric and Electronic Test Engineer for Nissan Motor Corporation. During this time, they were in charge of EIPF and HILS test and development activity, control tests performance, and root cause investigation of complex electrical concerns. From 2016-2018, they worked for Mahindra Racing as a Senior Systems and Control Engineer and Systems and Control Engineer. During this time, they also worked as a Professor for Experis Academy. In 2020, they became a Systems and Control Performance Engineer for ACCIONA | SAINZ XE Team. Most recently, they have been the Head of Powertrain and E/E Systems, Head of Powertrain and Systems Department, and Head of Powertrain for QEV Technologies since 2016.

Nicola Bassan obtained a Master's degree in Ingenieria Industrial from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya between 2009 and 2012. Prior to that, Nicola obtained a Laurea Magistrale in Ingegneria Elettronica from the Università degli Studi di Padova between 2005 and 2012.
