Andrew Critchley has extensive experience in service solutions and technical support within the biotechnology sector, currently serving as the Vice President and Head of Service Solutions EMEA and Managing Director of QIAGEN Ltd, roles held since October 1995. Responsibilities include overseeing customer care and support teams across multiple European locations, ensuring efficient service administration and field support. Prior positions at QIAGEN have included roles such as Senior Director of Technical Customer Support EMEA and Global Field Service Director, among others. Andrew's technical expertise is complemented by a solid academic background, including a PhD in Molecular Biology and a BSc (Hons) in Genetics/Molecular Biology from the University of Leeds, alongside postdoctoral research at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne focusing on molecular genetics.
