Diana Popovici

Diana Popovici is a seasoned professional in the field of biology and molecular biology, currently serving as the Team Lead for Content Curation at QIAGEN since September 2018. In this role, Diana coordinates a genomic data curation team, overseeing the extraction, quality control, annotation, and organization of biological and clinical data, while collaborating with software developers on data auto-curation systems. Previously, Diana worked as a Biologist at Laboratoarele Bioclinica and as a Research Student in the Conservation Genetics Department at the University of Koblenz and Landau, focusing on the phylogeny of the Romanian metapopulation of stone crayfish. Diana holds a Master of Science in Molecular Biology from the University of Regensburg and a Master's degree in Medical Biology from Babes-Bolyai University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Biology from West University of Timisoara.
