Dr Joerg Brandstaedter

Dr. Joerg Brandstaedter has extensive experience in the life sciences and biotechnology sectors, currently serving as Vice President at QIAGEN since August 2003, where responsibilities include overseeing global service excellence and managing order processing and customer support. Previous roles at QIAGEN include Senior Director and Director positions focused on service strategy for the EMEA region. Dr. Brandstaedter began a career in research with a postdoctoral fellowship at RIKEN Institute, specializing in plant photomorphogenesis. Dr. Brandstaedter holds a doctorate in Molecular Genetics, Biochemistry, and Developmental Biology from the University of Cologne.
