Eva Haenssler

Eva Haenssler is an accomplished professional in the field of molecular and cell biology, with extensive experience in product development related to RNA and DNA, as well as microbiome research. Currently serving as Associate Director of New NA Solutions Product Development at QIAGEN since April 2017, Eva previously held roles as Senior Scientist and Scientist at the same company, focusing on liquid biopsy and microbiome developments. Prior experience includes working as a Scientist at MO BIO Laboratories and extensive research during postdoctoral fellowships at Tufts University and Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, specializing in host-pathogen interactions. Eva earned a Dr. rer. nat. in Microbiology and Biochemistry from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg and holds another Dr. rer. nat. degree from the University of Cologne, where studies culminated in a Diplom-Biologin in Biology.
