John Pickert

John Pickert is a seasoned sales professional with extensive experience in the healthcare and forensic science industries. Currently serving as the Director of HID Sales for North America at QIAGEN since January 2015, John leads a sales team focused on providing innovative solutions to the HID community, achieving significant growth in established products and new technologies. Previous roles include Associate Director, Senior Sales Development Manager, and Sales Development Manager within the HID sector, where John implemented strategic sales plans and exceeded targets. Prior to QIAGEN, John held various positions at GE Healthcare, significantly increasing market share and customer acquisition, and earlier experience includes roles in sales consultancy and DNA analysis at the New York City Office of Chief Medical Examiner. John holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Connecticut, alongside a Master of Science in Chemistry from the University of Rochester and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Richmond.
