Kara Carpenter

Kara (Taylor) Carpenter has significant experience in the field of assay development and scientific research, currently serving as a Senior Manager of Assay Development at QIAGEN since July 2007. Prior roles at QIAGEN include Senior Scientific Expert and Scientist II. Previously, Kara held the position of Scientist II at Digene Corporation from May 2004 to July 2007, and worked as a Research Associate III at Human Genome Sciences from June 1999 to December 2003. Early in the career, Kara was a Scientist at AstraZeneca from August 1997 to June 1999. Kara holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Delaware, earned in 1997.
