Kathryn Bungartz

Kathryn Bungartz is an experienced professional in the field of molecular intelligence and clinical applications, currently serving as the Strategic Business Lead for QIAGEN's EMEA/APEC division since August 2019. In this role, Kathryn develops relationships with key clinical thought leaders and oversees significant projects requiring extensive coordination. Prior to this, Kathryn managed QIAGEN Digital Insights' clinical portfolio across various regions, focusing on hereditary and somatic variant interpretation. With a background that includes positions as a Clinical Application Specialist at N-of-One, Inc., Principal Scientist at the mibeg-Institute Medizin, and significant editorial experience with the American Journal of Human Genetics, Kathryn has cultivated a robust expertise in biomedical sciences, supported by a PhD from Creighton University and a Bachelor's degree in Biology.
