Lara Rodríguez Pie

Lara Rodríguez Pie is a Senior Laboratory Technician at QIAGEN since June 2021, involved in feasibility, development, verification, and validation studies within the R&D department, emphasizing data management and experience with BSL-2 pathogens. Prior to this role, Lara served as a Research Microbiologist at Institut de Ciències del Mar - CSIC from October 2020 to July 2021, where molecular biology techniques such as DNA extraction, PCR, and gel electrophoresis were developed for groundwater and sediment samples. Earlier experience as an Environmental Technician at ESEIAAT-UPC included work in paper engineering and sustainable materials, utilizing various analytical equipment. Lara holds a Master's degree in Microbiología Avanzada and a degree in Ciencias medioambientales from the Universitat de Barcelona.
