Markus Funk is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sales controlling, commercial transformation, and project management within QIAGEN since June 2015. As Director, Markus leads the Commercial Transformation initiative, enhancing the company's go-to-market strategies and managing key commercial programs. Responsibilities include building a team of project managers and establishing Subject Matter Experts for vital commercial processes. Markus previously served as Senior Marketing & Project Manager, overseeing companywide restructuring initiatives and the development of a marketing agency unit. Earlier in the career, Markus worked at tsd Technik-Sprachendienst GmbH as Project Manager and in Marketing Communications. Markus holds a Diplom-Betriebswirt degree in Business Administration from the University of Cologne.
