Melanie Schott-Tempich

Melanie Schott-Tempich has extensive experience in the biotechnology and healthcare sectors, currently serving as the Director of Operations Product Management for MDx at QIAGEN since July 2011. Prior roles at QIAGEN include Assistant Director and Senior Operations Product Manager, among others. Previous professional experience includes positions as BD Manager at Medicyte GmbH and Scientist at Heidelberg University Hospital and Heidelberg Pharma AG, where research focused on immunology and pre-clinical profiling of small molecules. Early career involvement includes research assistance at CellGenix Technologie Transfer GmbH, specializing in mesenchymal stem cells. Melanie holds a PhD in Immunology from the University of Heidelberg and a Dipl. Ing. in Biotechnology from the University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt.
