Nitin Sood

Nitin Sood is a seasoned executive in the life sciences and biotechnology sectors, currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of the Life Science Business Area at QIAGEN, with membership on the Executive Committee. Nitin leads a global team in delivering advanced sample and assay technologies to over 500,000 customers. Previously, Nitin held various leadership roles, including Chief Commercial Officer at Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp., SVP of Products at Guardant Health, and President and CEO of NuGEN Technologies, which was acquired by Tecan AG. Nitin's extensive experience also includes key positions at PerkinElmer, Boreal Genomics, Agilent Technologies, and Applied Biosystems, covering operational, product management, and software engineering responsibilities. Nitin holds a Master of Science in Molecular Biology and a Master’s degree in Computer Science, complemented by a Bachelor of Science from Delhi University.
