Sofie Jakobsen

Sofie Jakobsen is a Senior Bioinformatics Scientist at QIAGEN, where they apply their expertise in bioinformatics and computational chemistry. Sofie held a Visiting PhD Student position at the University of Basel, focusing on force field simulations, and has also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Aarhus University. They completed their PhD in Chemistry, specializing in Biomodelling, at Aarhus University, where they developed methods to improve biomolecular force fields. Additionally, Sofie has experience as a Lektor and has pursued education at both the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and various levels of study at Aarhus University.
