Tim Bonnert

Tim Bonnert is an experienced professional in the field of molecular biology and bioinformatics, currently serving as the Director of Field Application Scientists for QIAGEN Digital Insights since October 2014. In this role, Bonnert oversees the European and APEC Field Application Scientist teams, focusing on next-generation sequencing data analysis and biological interpretation. Prior experience includes positions as Field Application Scientist at Ingenuity Systems, Director of Applied Science at Ceiba Solutions and Rosetta Biosoftware, Research Fellow at Merck Sharp & Dohme, and Postdoctoral Fellow at Immunex Corporation. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the University of Cambridge and a B.A. in Pure & Applied Biology from the University of Oxford.
