Brooke Nance

Brooke Nance has extensive work experience in various roles within the finance and investment industry.

Brooke began their career at Macquarie Group in 2005, where they worked in investment banking, focusing on capital raisings, M&A, and unlisted fund raisings. In their later years at Macquarie, they specialized in establishing and raising capital for unlisted real estate funds in emerging markets.

In 2009, they joined ASX as the Senior Manager of Issuer Services. In this role, they led the business and developed strategies to attract and retain listed companies. Brooke also worked on identifying and implementing new products and services beyond the traditional exchange offerings.

From 2014 to 2018, Brooke served as the Head of Operations at Blue Sky Alternative Investments Limited. Brooke collaborated closely with the Chief Operating Officer to ensure operational efficiency across various departments and maintained relationships with external stakeholders and key investors.

In 2019, Brooke joined Cromwell Property Group as an Analyst in Retail Funds Management. Their responsibilities included assisting the team with various tasks such as gathering information, reviewing fund documentation, and preparing due diligence material and strategic plans.

More recently, in 2019, they joined QIC as the Senior Product Manager, Global Clients & Marketing. In this role, they managed the product development pipeline across all asset classes and oversaw the entire lifecycle of a product, from concept generation to implementation and ongoing monitoring.

In 2020, Brooke was promoted to the role of Head of Capital Solutions Structuring at QIC. Their responsibilities include developing the QIC product pipeline, working with subject matter experts to develop and launch new products that meet institutional client needs, and ensuring market alignment.

Brooke Nance completed their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with First Class Honours from The University of Queensland from 2000 to 2004. During the same period, they also obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting from the same institution. In 2017, they attended the Australian Institute of Company Directors and completed the Company Directors Course (GIACD).
