Jeroen Plooster CQF FRM has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the financial industry. Jeroen began their career in 2003 as a Junior Arbitrage Trader at AOT Derivatives. Jeroen then joined Optiver Asia Pacific in 2004, where they worked as a (Senior) Wholesale Trader before eventually becoming the Head of Wholesale Trading. In 2010, they joined Compagnie Financiere Tradition as an Inter-dealer Broker for Australian Equity Derivatives and later for NIKKEI Derivatives. In 2012, Jeroen started their own photography business, J.Poul Photography, where they gained exposure in various magazines. In 2015, they joined Vivienne Court Trading Pty Ltd as a Senior Trader and Business Development professional. Currently, Jeroen works at QIC as a Senior Trader. Throughout their career, Jeroen has showcased their skills in trading, business development, and photography.

Jeroen Plooster has a Master's degree in Business/Managerial Economics, which they obtained from Radboud University between 1995 and 2002. In 2017 and 2018, they pursued a Certificate of Quantitative Finance from the CQF Institute/Fitch Learning, specializing in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics.

Additionally, Jeroen has obtained several certifications. In 2014 and 2015, they completed various courses and received certificates in subjects such as linear algebra, computing, algorithmic thinking, data products development, machine learning, reproducible research, data cleaning, computing principles, regression models, exploratory data analysis, statistical inference, programming in R, and data science. These certificates were obtained through Coursera's Verified Certificates program.

Furthermore, Jeroen holds a verified certificate in Credit Risk Management from edX, which they obtained in 2014. Jeroen is also a Financial Risk Manager (FRM®) certified by the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).
