Thanos Anogiatis

Thanos Anogiatis, MEng., currently serves as the Director of Geographic Information Systems at Qiddiya, contributing to Vision 2030's goal of establishing a premier entertainment destination in Saudi Arabia. Prior to this role, Thanos was the Head of GIS for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ at Jacobs, where responsibilities included developing and implementing geospatial strategies. Thanos began their career as a GIS Applications Engineer and progressed through various roles, including GIS Manager at WS Atkins International and Intergraph, where skills in project management and customer relations were honed. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Surveying Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and an Erasmus Certificate in Geography from Utrecht University.
