Joyce Pei

Joyce Pei, Ph.D., M.B.A. has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry in various leadership roles. Joyce currently serves as the Executive Vice President of Business Development at Qilu Pharmaceuticals. Prior to this, they were the Chief Business Officer at Duality Biologics. From 2018 to 2021, they held positions at Sihuan Pharmaceutical Holdings Group, including Senior Vice President and Global Head of Business Development. Before that, they were the US Head and General Manager of Business Development and Investment at Simcere Pharmaceutical Group. Joyce also worked at Boehringer Ingelheim as a Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships and Alliance. Joyce held notable positions at Hoffmann-La Roche, including Global Director of Business Development and International Business Leader. Joyce began their career at Bristol-Myers Squibb in various roles related to clinical development, regulatory affairs, and clinical trials.

Dr. Joyce Pei holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Pharmacology from the University of Maryland Baltimore, where they completed their doctoral studies. Joyce also has an M.B.A. in Strategic Planning and Finance from Rutgers Business School and a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree in Clinical Pharmacology from Rutgers University. In addition, Dr. Pei has completed various clinical residencies and rotations in oncology at prestigious institutions such as The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, the University of Maryland School of Medicine, and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute at Harvard University. Joyce is also a Registered Pharmacist certified by the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy.
