Chris Hunter is an accomplished Research Assistant at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute since February 2021, where responsibilities include differentiating human iPSC into cortical and cerebellar organoids and implementing methods for Myeloid cell production from iPSC. Prior experience at the same institute involved maintaining mouse colonies, developing experimental procedures, and evaluating a novel protein's role in T-cell function as an Honours Student. Additional project work focused on using CD169 to study immune response in the CNS of mice with chronic graft versus host disease. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science Honours in Immunology and a Bachelor of Biomedical Science from Griffith University, as well as a Certificate III in Business from the Australian Retail College. Previous work experience includes a role as a Food Service Worker at KFC from November 2013 to February 2018.
