Leon Hugo

Leon Hugo is a seasoned research officer at the Queensland Institute of Medical Research since January 2008, following a notable role as an Australian Postdoctoral Fellow (Industry) at the University of Queensland from January 2005 to December 2007. During the postdoctoral tenure, Leon contributed to an ARC Linkage grant focused on ecological genomics and host-parasite interactions while collaborating with prominent researchers like Professor Scott O'Neill and Dr. Peter Ryan. Leon completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Tropical Health at The University of Queensland from 2000 to 2004.
