Si-Ling Yang (Carol)

Si-Ling (Carol) Yang is a research assistant at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute since July 2022, with prior experience as a research assistant at Chang Gung University from September 2018 to September 2019, where lab skills included cell cultures, Western blotting, and real-time PCR. Key responsibilities involved lab administration and collaboration with other assistants, including teaching undergraduate students. Scientific contributions include published results in Biochimica et Biophysica Acta regarding the characterization of human mitochondrial proteins. Si-Ling was recognized as an outstanding research assistant in Professor Yen's lab. Earlier experience includes an internship at Chang-Geng Memorial Hospital in various clinical departments. Si-Ling holds a Master's degree in biotechnology from The University of Queensland and a Bachelor's degree in Science from National Yang Ming University.
