Dave Scott

Dave Scott serves as the Vice President of Business Development Operations. He is responsible for advancing QinetiQ Inc.’s business strategies in order to meet our growth and diversification goals.

Prior to his role as VP of Business Development Operations (first at MTEQ and then QinetiQ), Dave served as MTEQ’s Director of Business Development, helping mature our processes to manage our business development goals. Before joining MTEQ, he served for 20 years in a variety of business development, engineering, business unit management and program management roles at SRI International. While at SRI, Dave served in several program and group management roles. Prior to joining MTEQ he served in a business development role, where he was responsible for identifying and delivering government funding opportunities in national security markets, as well as providing strategic direction for new market entrance, proposal strategies, and teaming arrangements. He also provided strategic capture, competitive analysis and strategic guidance to the organization. He was also program director and chief operations officer at Rosettex Technology & Ventures Group, an SRI joint venture, supporting pathfinder efforts in rapid technology innovation for the Federal Government.

Dave holds a Master of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin, and a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from State University of New York and Syracuse University.
