Tom Albertin

Tom Albertin has extensive experience in software and systems engineering, currently serving as a Consulting Engineer for Hologic/Cynosure since January 2015, where Tom has contributed to the development of a medical product utilizing RF technology and advanced embedded systems. As Principal at Software and Systems Design, Inc. since January 1995, Tom has led numerous projects, including optimizing Android OS for embedded applications and customizing hardware and software solutions for medical devices. Additionally, Tom has consulted for various companies, including QinetiQ North America and WaveRx, where Tom focused on software analysis and systems engineering. Tom holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Boston University, a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Union College.
