Brian Perrett

Brian Perrett is a Managing Consultant at QinetiQ, specializing in the development of technical strategies in complex sensing domains since July 2001. Previously held positions include Head of Security Products, overseeing a team of fifty scientists and engineers to deliver specialized research and services within the defense and security sector, and Senior Scientist, leading high-value projects in optics and laser technologies. Prior to joining QinetiQ, Brian worked as a Scientist at DERA, focusing on the development of solid-state laser sources and CO2 laser-based lidar systems. Brian holds a PhD and an MPhys in Physics from Heriot-Watt University.
