Kerry Townsend has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Starting in 2002, Kerry worked at BMW Group Middle East as a Sales & Finance Support Executive, providing assistance to the sales team and managing business correspondence. From 2004 to 2009, Kerry transitioned to the role of Project Training Operations Specialist at BMW Group Middle East, where they were responsible for organizing training schedules, monitoring training activity, and controlling the training budget for the region. In 2010, Kerry joined Virgin Media as a Project Co-Coordinator, overseeing broadband upgrades and managing workflow. They then moved to Hewlett-Packard as a Training Co-Coordinator, supporting project managers in organizing training schedules. In 2012, Kerry joined BMW Group UK Limited as a Training Projects Co-ordinator, managing facilities and training operations. Finally, in 2015, Kerry joined QinetiQ where they held several roles, including Principal Project Controller and Senior Project Control Specialist, responsible for project support and control, financial forecasting, and monitoring project finances. In 2020, Kerry served as a Principle Bid Cost Project Controller, overseeing bidding costs.
Kerry Townsend attended Farnborough College of Technology from 1992 to 1993, where they completed their GCSE degree in English Literature, Spanish, Math, and French. Kerry then pursued a City & Guilds degree in Travel & Tourism at the same college from 1993 to 1994. Before that, from 1988 to 1992, Kerry attended Calthorpe Park School, where they obtained their GCSE degree in English Literature, English Language, Math, French, Spanish, German, Geography, and Science.
