Melanie Edwards is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in safety and systems engineering, currently serving as a Senior Safety Engineer at QinetiQ since November 2021. Previously, Melanie has held roles such as Land Safety Engineer at QinetiQ Ltd, Project Engineer at Northrop Grumman, and Systems Engineer at GE Aviation. With a strong educational background that includes a CPD in Risk and Reliability Engineering from Cranfield University and a BSc in Applied Biology from Coventry University, Melanie has developed expertise across various engineering disciplines over a career that spans more than two decades in the aerospace and defense sectors.
