Michelle Suttle

Michelle Suttle serves as the Chief Risk Officer at QinetiQ since January 2023, leading the global risk function with operations in multiple countries, including the UK, US, Australia, Canada, and Germany. Prior to this role, Michelle held various positions at BAE Systems, including Operations Executive, where oversight of operations across seven countries was maintained, and Senior Executive, where leadership in business operations, performance improvement, and internal audit functions was provided for a large Intelligence & Security business. Michelle's experience also includes a tenure at the Smithsonian Institution's National Air and Space Museum as Associate Director for Business Operations, Technology and Exhibits, managing multiple operational departments. Earlier in the career, Michelle worked as Deputy Division Manager at SAIC, responsible for P&L management. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science from the United States Air Force Academy, a Master's in Information Management from Marymount University, and an MBA from Western New England University.
