Jennifer Heater

Jennifer Heater has a diverse work experience in the insurance and financial industry. Jennifer is currently working at Symetra as the Vice President, Deputy Chief Risk Officer since October 2022. Before joining Symetra, they held the position of Assistant Vice President at the same company from January 2020 to October 2022. Prior to that, Jennifer worked at Great American Insurance Group, where they served as Divisional Assistant Vice President from June 2018 to December 2019 and from March 2016 to June 2018. Jennifer also worked as a Senior Actuary at Great American Insurance Group from March 2008 to March 2016. Jennifer began their career at Western & Southern Financial Group as an Associate Actuary from May 2004 to March 2008.

Jennifer Heater received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics and Statistics from Miami University in the years 2001-2004. In addition, they obtained the following certifications: Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP) from DRI International in 2021, FSA from the Society of Actuaries in 2009, and MAAA from the American Academy of Actuaries in 2007.
