Joakim Carlsson has a diverse work experience spanning across different industries and roles. Joakim started their career as an Account Development Rep. at IBM in 2004 and later worked as an Account Manager at Oracle from 2005 to 2007. In 2007, they worked as a Consultant at Sigma Exallon AB and then briefly as an IT Recruitment Consultant at RC/Indigo in 2008. Joakim also worked as a Real Estate Broker at Better Homes LLC from 2008 to 2010. From 2010 to 2013, they served as a Key Account Manager at Dell, responsible for solution sales to major clients. Joakim continued their Key Account Manager role at Ricoh Sverige AB from 2013 to 2016 and then at Staples Connect Sweden AB from 2015 to 2017. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Business Development - TMT Nordics at Qinshift, a global technology company.

Joakim Carlsson has a diverse education history. Joakim attended Lund University from 2000 to 2004, where they studied Informatics, English, and Law. During the same period, they also studied at Malmö University, earning a degree in Pedagogical studies, leadership, and organization. In 2000, Joakim briefly studied English and American literature at Georgia College & State University. Prior to that, in 1999, they studied Psychology at Hawaii Pacific University. Joakim's educational background also includes studies in Linear algebra and Analyses in one variable at The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University in 1997, and a Nature and Science high school program at Katedralskolan Lund from 1994 to 1997. In 2008, they obtained a Diploma in Real Estate from the Dubai Real Estate Education Institute. Additionally, Joakim has taken Corporate Courses in Information Technology.
