Joel Thompson

Joel Thompson is an experienced civil engineer and project engineer with a strong background in design and project management. Current experience includes serving as a Project Engineer at QK since August 2021. Prior experience as a Civil Engineer at Forma Engineering involved specializing in the design of single-family and residential communities in Los Angeles, as well as grading design using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Previous roles include Designer for the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts, focusing on wastewater and solid waste management facilities, and Civil Engineer for the US Army Corps of Engineers, where Joel designed construction contract drawings and modeled using MicroStation and InRoads. Early career experience includes working as a Lab Technician at Professional Service Industries, Inc., performing soil and concrete testing. Joel holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering - Structures from The Ohio State University.
