Melissa Steffy

Melissa Steffy, MS has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Melissa started their career as an Analyst at GC/Metals in 2000, where they consistently met production goals and quality standards in environmental testing. Melissa also supervised a technician and documented corrective actions and equipment maintenance requirements. From 2004 to 2005, Melissa worked as a GC/MS Analyst at Analytical Laboratories, Inc., where they performed sample preparation and analysis, played a key role in meeting production goals, and performed IT functions related to data acquisition and maintenance. In 2006, they became a Computer Systems Technician at Wildlife International, Ltd., before joining Bank of America in 2011 as an Assistant Vice President and Consumer Product Strategy Analyst. At Bank of America, Melissa held this role until 2015 and was responsible for various analytical tasks. Most recently, they have been working as a Data Analyst II at Qlarant since 2016.

Melissa Steffy, MS, holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Information Systems with a specialization in Database Management and Business Intelligence from Boston University. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marine Science from Kutztown University. In addition to their formal education, Melissa has obtained several certifications including R Programming and The Data Scientist’s Toolbox from Coursera. Melissa is also a Microsoft Certified Professional, which they achieved in 2002.
