Niek van Staveren

Niek van Staveren is a seasoned technical professional with extensive experience in software engineering and cognitive AI consulting. Currently serving as a Technical Lead at Qlik since March 2019, Niek has previously held positions as a Senior Software Engineer at EPAM Systems, specializing in the implementation of chatbots, and as a Cognitive Implementation Engineer at IPsoft, where responsibilities included implementing the Amelia product and conducting pre-sales activities. Earlier roles include contributions to payment solutions at ING, data integration at SVB Sociale Verzekeringsbank, and positions in research and academic support at Wageningen University and Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. Niek holds a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Groningen.
