Xiao Liu

Senior Scientist Project Lead at QLSF Biotherapeutics

Xiao Liu has worked in various roles and companies over the years. From 2009 to 2012, they worked as a Research Technologist at the University of Chicago. They then became a Senior Research Specialist from 2012 to 2015. Following that, they pursued a Ph.D. at the same institution from 2015 to 2017. During this time, they also worked as a Co-investigator and Staff Scientist. In 2017, Xiao joined March of Dimes as a Staff Scientist and later became a Co-investigator at the University of Chicago. In 2020, they joined Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp. as a Research Scientist, where they focused on discovering and identifying tumor antigen-specific T cells. Currently, Xiao Liu is a Senior Scientist at QLSF Biotherapeutics, Inc. as of November 2022.

Xiao Liu's education history is as follows:

Xiao Liu obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Cancer immunoengineering from the University of Chicago, studying from 2015 to 2017.

Prior to that, from 2008 to 2009, Xiao Liu earned a Master's degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the Illinois Institute of Technology.

In the year 2007 to 2008, Xiao Liu pursued a Master's degree in Biotechnology and Entrepreneurship at New York University.

Earlier, from 2005 to 2007, Xiao Liu obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Genetics from Sichuan University.

Xiao Liu's educational journey began at Sichuan Normal University Chengdu College, where from 1999 to 2003, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General.

In addition to their formal education, Xiao Liu also holds a certification in Data Science and Big Data Analytics: Making Data-Driven Decisions. This certification was obtained in July 2019 from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
