Laura Clay

Laura Clay has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Laura is currently working as a Customer Success Manager at Qmarkets - Enterprise Idea & Innovation Management Platforms. Prior to this, Laura worked at Aventri for several years, holding roles such as Customer Education Manager, Head of Training and Education, Professional Services, and Senior Event Logistics Manager/Client Support Specialist. At Aventri, they were responsible for developing and implementing training programs, managing a global team of trainers, and strengthening client relationships. Before joining Aventri, Laura worked at Purdue Pharma as a Consultant Marketing Education and Conventions, where they organized conferences to educate physician groups on pharmaceutical offerings. Laura also worked as a Registration Manager at Penton Media, overseeing the registration process for national trade shows. Laura also had experience at Juliska as an Account Manager and Reed Exhibitions as a VIP Program Coordinator. Additionally, they worked as a Stage Manager at The Footlight Club and Assistant Account Manager at William Gallagher Associates. Throughout their career, Laura has demonstrated strong leadership and relationship management skills, consistently achieving positive results.

Laura Clay has a diverse education history. Laura attended Syracuse University, where they studied Speech Communication. In 2002-2003, they enrolled in The Insurance Library's Program in General Insurance, earning a degree in that field. From 2012 to 2014, Laura pursued a program in Meeting and Event Planning at the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE). In 2016, they obtained a Training Certificate in Training Design, Development, and Delivery from the Association for Talent Development (ATD). Later, in June 2017, Laura completed a certification program in Training through ATD. Most recently, in June 2021, they earned the Inbound certification from HubSpot Academy.
