Christine Lai

Christine Lai has a wealth of work experience, beginning with their role as a Global Fashion Retail Licensing Assistant at Phillips Van Heusen in 2008. Christine then worked as a Foreign Commercial Service Associate at the US Embassy in Beijing, China, followed by a role as a Product Design and Policy Consultant at CSRA Inc. and Touchstone Consulting Group in 2009. In 2011, they worked as a Senior Technology Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton and then as an Engagement Manager - Client & Strategic Initiatives at PotomacWave in 2012. In 2013, they Co-Founded and worked as a Career Coach at Consequi. In 2015, they were a Fulbright Scholar sponsored by the US Department of State to study Masters in Business Administration at IE Business School in Spain. From 2017 to 2020, they worked at IBM iX as an Engagement Manager and Senior Consultant in Digital Strategy. Most recently, in 2020, they were appointed as the Senior Vice President of Product Delivery at Qmulos, where they lead and enables the product implementation, professional services engineering, customer success, and training teams. Christine also held the role of Vice President of Product Delivery at Qmulos. Additionally, they were the Director of Customer Success Management, where they strived to be a collaborative partner in enabling customer strategic cybersecurity goals and solutions.

Christine Lai began their educational journey at Stuyvesant High School. Christine then attended Cornell University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in China and Asia-Pacific Studies. Following this, Christine attended Peking University as part of an Exchange Program to study US-China Relations. Christine then obtained a Master of Professional Studies in Technology Management from Georgetown University in 2014. In 2015, Christine earned a Masters in Business Administration from IE Business School, specializing in Technology and Entrepreneurship. In addition to these degrees, Christine also holds a Diploma in Piano Studies from the Manhattan School of Music. Christine has also obtained several certifications, including a Level 3 Award in Wines and Spirits from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (2015), a Wine Sommelier - Level One from the Court of Master Sommeliers (2012), a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute (2011), and a Certified Associate in Project Management from the Project Management Institute (2009).
