Karthik Subramanian

Karthik Subramanian has a wide range of work experience. In 2020, they began working at Qmulos as the Vice President of Technical Engagements, Director of Qmulos Products Training, Professional Services Team Manager, and Principal Splunk Engineer. In 2018, they began working at SAIC as a Principal Senior Cybersecurity Architect. From 2006-2010, Karthik worked for Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity in various roles such as APO LEADS Presenter, Chief of Staff, Region III, Launch Program Coordinator, and Section 77 Chair. From 2016-2018, they worked at Function1 as a Technical Manager, Developer - Operational Intelligence Team, and Consultant - Operational Intelligence Team. From 2012-2010, Karthik worked at the Patent and Trademark Office Society as a Committee Member - Education Committee and a Patent Examiner, and at the Journal of the Patent and Trademark Office Society as an Editor. In 2009, they worked for Equal Justice Works as a Student Member, National Advisory Committee, and for Thomson Reuters as a Westlaw Student Representative. Finally, in 2008, Karthik worked for the Alabama Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Law Review as an Editor in Chief and Law Student, and for the South Carolina Commission on Indigent Defense as a Summer Intern, Capital Trial Division.

Karthik Subramanian has a diverse educational background. Karthik attended Princeton High School from 1996 to 2000, then obtained a BS in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mathematics from Virginia Tech from 2000 to 2005. Karthik then attended The University of Alabama and The University of Alabama School of Law from 2008 to 2011, where they earned a JD in Law. In addition, Karthik has obtained numerous certifications from Qmulos, Splunk, and (ISC)², including Accredited Qmulos Products Delivery, Certified Q-Audit Deployment, Certified Q-Audit End User, Certified Q-Compliance Deployment, Certified Q-Compliance End User, Accredited Core Implementation (Formerly Splunk Certified Consultant Level 2), Accredited Implementation Fundamentals (Formerly Splunk Certified Consultant Level 1), Splunk Core Certified Consultant, Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect, Certified Enterprise Security Admin, Splunk Certified Admin, Splunk Certified Power User, Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect, SSCP, and CISSP.
